Built in 1976 in honour of the Supreme Patriarch Somdej Phra Yanasangworn, Wat Yansangvararam is a huge temple complex in Pattaya. Set on a majestic land of around 145 acres, the temple complex includes various architectural style buildings like Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Lanna Thai, and Swiss. The complex also has many gardens, monuments and a large lake. All this makes the place very serene and tranquil that is ideal for unwinding a day’s stress and for relaxation. There is also a museum which houses an impressive collection of Chinese artifacts. The main temple building is moulded in a very modern style and the pavilion contains a replica of Buddha’s footprint. The place is perfect if you are looking for some peaceful time. From a certain spot inside the complex you can also have a scenic view of the huge Buddha Golden Mountain (Khao Cheejan). The temple complex also conducts meditation classes for tourists daily. You can avail these services to attain relax and calm your mind.
