Ullswater, Patterdale is recommended as the second largest inland sea in the United Kingdom. From the 18th century, it has started giving access to the visitors. You can find a ribbon lake here which has formed due to the ice cage. It has separated shooting estates along with a shooting lodge where you can shoot birds and animals. It also houses a club namely as Ullswater Yacht Club here. You can also find a number of steamers and yachts are sailing in the water. The Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy function is also hosted in the clubhouse of the Ullswater, Patterdale every year.
