Visit the Lieberoser Wuste (lieberose Desert) to witness the long stretch of bare sand which is formed due to Big Forest Fire by. After being a desert, the military had used this place for a long time and hence military equipment are scattered everywhere of this spot. Though the spot is barren you will find that the surrounding area of the spot is characterised by pine woods. Due to the erosion works of wind, many sand dunes have been formed in some places of Lieberoser Wuste (lieberose Desert). After several experiments, the land has been used for plantation of sand-straw flower and glass-haired Widertonmoss. Insects like the beetle, grasshopper, spider, ant moth and others can be found here too.
