Before the first world way from 1908, Kaiser Wilhelm II was known to spend his summers at Achillion Palace. Even so, his favorite location was actually the village of Pelekas where he had planned to build Achillion palace initially. This fact does not come as a surprise for the beauty that this particular point offers. Standing at Kaiser’s Throne, you get a complete 360 degree panoramic view of the island and also see one of the most impressive sunsets. Even though a lot has changed since Kaisers throne was built, but the beauty of the amazingly magical sunsets still remains intact. Take a hike at around 4:30 in the evening and you will be able to witness the lovely view from here.

  • Take the hike only if physically fit.
  • Avoid in the sun.
  • Do not forget your cameras!

  • Free entry as it is a national attraction.

  • You can actually see both Easter and Western sides for Corfu island from this Kaiser's Throne. The road via Pelekas place is epic, your path and houses on both sides, some interesting curves, etc.. Greek style. Not to heavy. I saw some restaurant, you can probably rest there. From parking space to the Throne it is about 1-2 minutes. Again, the views are super.

  • A bit of everything - history, great views, beautifully kept hotel & gardens.. super swimming pool - we had a fresh tasty lunch.... but an event of a hill climb and juggle with traffic to get here.

  • Great location to watch panoramic Corfu and enjoy the view of the sunset

  • Nice view. You can see from here both parts of the island east and west coast.

  • This is kaiser 's throne. A rock mounted on the top of Pelekas mountain, that belongs to the village of the same name. Provides the best view of Corfu island through a telescope. Top quality sunset view is also available on the right time. You will be emotioned enough to follow the path of love through the trees to the peak. Parking lot available. Caff√® restaurant as well as a pool are there. The restaurant is expensive, but this visit will remain unforgettable for everyone. Families are welcome. I love this place for the moments I had there.
