Mirtiotissa Beach is described by a lot of regular visitors and beach lovers as the best beach to be in the whole of Europe. The beautiful sheer cliffs are completely covered with trees. The shrubs here drop directly into the sand which creates a sense of wonderful isolation. You will find curl rocky promontories offering marvelous snorkeling in both ends of the beaches. Mirtiotissa is also unofficially known as the Island’s nudist beach. It is a lovely place to be at just to spend a quiet day with your friends and you should definitely put it in your itinerary while at Greece.

Mirtiotissa Beach, Pelekas Reviews - Write a Review

  • Really nice, safe beach, friendly, not at all aggressive straight and gay nudist area. It is a nice seaside for snorkeling. Golden sandy beach with some rocks. Unfortunatelly there are no rubbish bins and there is plenty of rubbish around Corfu's beaches😑 Parking available behind the restaurant. Stop for dinner at the really quality restaurant after beaching. They have a quality service and rooms to rent as well.

  • Lovely beach pretty isolated and hard to reach by car since there is a steep road that leads to it and almost no parking. I highly suggest to park at the top and walk down so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the beach. Most of the people here are nudist, we have been here as a young couple and it wasn't very nice since the average age is around 55, so if you are young you won't feel that well getting naked here. We have been once and there are too many old people, the age gap was a big turn down for us. Plus many greek locals just coming to take pictures and stare at naked girls. For this reason I gave 2 stars, however the beach itself deserves 5 stars as it is stunning!

  • Pros: A very nice beach for those who love naturism. The access into the water is smooth and the sand is fine. From the beach bar you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas with a reasonable price. Cons: Very difficult access with any vehicle and as an pedestrian you will need strong health to walk to this beach especially in hot days. If you want to be on the safe side, you will need to carry with you large quantity of water because the beach bar has very limited water stocks. Due to the above, another weak point of this beach is the lack of first aid point.

  • One of the prettiest beaches on Corfu. Without noisy people. Nice service. Beutiful views. And this is probably the only one official naked beach on Corfu.

  • Very clean, sandy and quiet beach where everyone can be himself (with or without swimming clothes). There's water falling down the rocks that acts as a shower, you can rent sunbeds and sun screens, the owner of the beds has an improvised bar where you can also get freshly made sandwiches with tzatziki and tomato/cucumber/onion. You can park your car next to the road but do mind that it's an adventurous road, not for all drivers! There's also a very nice tavern before the road goes down to the beach. Thete's a stair with rock bricks to go from the road to the beach, you have to look good because we almost missed it :-). The water level is rather low for a long walk in the sea, the water is very clear and the bottom of the sea is easy to walk on. Perfect for children!
