Kanchenjunga Falls - Review
As you travel around 28kms from Pelling towards Yuksam, you shall come across one of the most transparent waterfalls of Kanchenjunga. These waterfalls are situated at a sharp curve on the road side. Since the density of the flow of these falls remains almost same throughout the year, they have become one of the most prominent attractions of Sikkim. Interestingly, these falls were first discovered recently by a tour operator of Pelling named Topjor Bhutia, in the mid 90s. Since these falls were almost hidden from the road, they could not be located by people who visited this place. It is believed that this pristine waterfall originates high up in the glaciers of Mount Kanchenjunga. Today this spot is being facilitated with tourist amenities so as to promote tourism here. There are small steps which lead to the base of the water fall.

Kanchenjunga Falls, Pelling Reviews
One of the best waterfalls in Sikkim. The thundering sound of the waterfall coming down from the hills... awesome feeling when you see and hear it first time.
Waters from Kanchenjunga make a stream and falls, touch the water for ice cold refreshment. The waterfall is big and wild, area gets moist & cloudy with tiny water particles in air due to impact of the huge fall. Needs to climb few stairs to reach near the center spot where the water is falling, yes with family and children you may reach and enjoy view. There are locals with helping hand, if require they helps aged, children and others to reach the center spot; donate something if you need help but not compulsory. Activities like open rope-way is available you must try it for adventure experience if never done before, otherwise it's normal activity. Last but not least never forgot to test "Sikkimese food" there.
Breath taking view and roaring falls from the Kanchenjunga peak. Very refreshing water sprays and soothing atmosphere.
Great place for gathering with friends and family, Around an hour’s drive from Pelling towards Yuksom is the glorious Kanchenjunga Falls. Fed by the local streams originating from the glaciers near the base of Mount Kanchenjunga, the falls are in its full form all year round. Tourists usually make a stop here after visiting Pelling. One has to climb a series of steep stairs to reach the base of the fall but the climb is worth it. These wondrous falls mesmerize all who visit with its pristine beauty and grandeur and has become a leading attraction in West Sikkim.
I was expecting a majestic waterfall but to my surprise it felt like a stream of water. Maybe it wasn't the season to go and watch the fall but I am not really amazed by it. Honestly there were a lot of falls on our way to Kanchenjunga and they seemed more beautiful due to their untouched nature
