As you travel around 28kms from Pelling towards Yuksam, you shall come across one of the most transparent waterfalls of Kanchenjunga. These waterfalls are situated at a sharp curve on the road side. Since the density of the flow of these falls remains almost same throughout the year, they have become one of the most prominent attractions of Sikkim. Interestingly, these falls were first discovered recently by a tour operator of Pelling named Topjor Bhutia, in the mid 90s. Since these falls were almost hidden from the road, they could not be located by people who visited this place. It is believed that this pristine waterfall originates high up in the glaciers of Mount Kanchenjunga. Today this spot is being facilitated with tourist amenities so as to promote tourism here. There are small steps which lead to the base of the water fall.

  • Very good falls. We visit this place at 5.30pm. At that time this place was lonely. We take short cut root for going this place the road was bad(this is original root). When we return from this place, we take original root that root was very good.

  • Great place, great experience the water fall is not visible from the road it is about a minute far from the road itself, there is an entry amount which is fair enough for the place as it is a great refreshment place and a great place to click photos.. The water is very cold and there is also a ropeway for you to enjoy it if you are an adventure sport lover...But be careful when stepping on stones as you can slip into water and get injured as the speed of water is high enough for you to get injured

  • Another beautiful waterfall in Sikkim. The drive towards the waterfall itself is very beautiful with greenary all around. The spot requires entry fee. It is free for kids below 10 years. It has got rope sliding activity, fee for it is Rs. 100. Quiet an enjoyable place for peopla of all ages.
