Khecheopalri Lake, Pelling Reviews
A short hike up from the lake is the viewpoint. It affords a view of the entire lake from a viewing point on the hill behind the lake. Good views to see the shape of the lake (shaped like a foot print)
The view point as the name suggests gives a magnificent view of the lake and surroundings. It is a good half an hour hike up the mountain, a bit steep too, however the view is pretty good from the top.
You will get a beautiful view of Khichipidi lake from here and if you have not any treking experience, then it will be the first step to start expedition. You can see the whole lake valley view from this ride. The road is not perfect for every one. You have some physical and mental fitness to achieve that view point and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Love the place. The serenity and nature will freshen you up. Avoid going in rainy season though.
Lovely place, peaceful and calming , it is said that here you find your inner soul to be unleashed . A must visit place
