Tiryns is a UNESCO listed famous archaeological site whose unique architecture was praised by many authors and poets and some used it as a plot too. The architecture of Mycenaean period of this building is amusing. This site was also used as the plot of Homer’s great epic “Iliad and Odyssey”. The palace has many cyclopean tunnels and great walls which are quite attractive. You will find that many wooden columns of Minoan-style have been used to support the central hearth of the building. As the building of Tiryns was demolished, it is now used for excavation purpose by some famous German archaeologists.
