Pratapgad Fort, Pen Reviews
A great historical place, must visit. If you are planning to get here, be ready to walk and climb upstairs, best time would be pre or post monsoon. The place is scenic, I visited on weekends but there was rush, so I am pretty sure it will be crowded over weekend. Guides are available if you are interested in knowing history. The road from Mahabaleshwar to Pratapgad is very nice but kinda lonely so make sure you drive during the day.
Worth visiting. It's in the heart of lush green forest and on the top of the hill. Couldn't explore the whole fort as some part of it was closed. The history and victory linked to the fort is mesmerizing and makes us feel proud for Shivaji and his men's bravery and creation
If u are interested in history, then its a must visit place. Marvelously built fort during Shivaji's reign. It has not been maintained well and a lot can be done to restore its glory. If u visit, hire a local guide and he will tell u all stories related with the fort.
Great place to explore.. it has restoration work going on currently so some sections are closed off. Good history. PLEASE DO hire a guide. With a receipt. They give a great deal of insight into the fort's history. Awesome place.
A must visit place in Mahabaleshwar. It'll take almost half an hour to reach the top. There's a huge statue of Shivaji at the top. Some of the used artillery is also kept there. A temple is also there. Be sure to eat something from the local stalls😋
