  • This fort is best to go if you are going there for sunrise. I went there to have a view of sunrise. Fort looks old and there is nothing to look as a fort. Yes, the best part of this fort is view. There is great view of mountains there. You can roam around whole fort to have a view. This fort doesn't have any tickets. It's free of cost to visit there. Don't go with a high expectations.

  • One of the forts in good condition. Walk along the boundary of the fort to see the real historical views. Don't go by newly constructed path.

  • The place is good for a one time visit. Parking can be a problem. Steep climb for cars. Refreshments available just near the parking lot. Parking is free. View is amazing from various points across the fort.

  • This is practically a beginner level climb. The stairs are cut out, and there's eateries and shops right from the base all the way to the top. You can bring your family along to have a good time. There's a shivaji statue at the top, along with some other things. Good place to kill a few hours.

  • Pratapgad is one of the best-developed hill forts in Maharashtra. This fort is nicely preserved by government authorities. It takes 2 to 3 hours to see all points on the fort and its surrounding. It is very important fort as the major fight with Afzal Khan took place . The most amazing fort I have ever visited. The view from the top is superb. If you’re a trekking freak, then you will enjoy roaming around the fort. This place is not for senior citizens as climbing the fort is very tiring.
