Penang Bird Park Reviews & Ratings
Quite well maintained, and they have many species of birds in their exhibit. Would make a great field trip for kids.
The ambience was dirty & not well maintained. Felt that all birds were unhappy there... Never performed shows as scheduled, probably due to low volume of visitors.
There were many different types of birds & the place was natural.. It was so awesome
Love to walk in the bird cage, nice if can see the birds flying freely in big dome shape cage in future. Only few birds are leaving in big cage. Many in small.
Having just arrived in Butterworth my wife and I decided to visit the park in the afternoon. We arrived at 5pm and had only about 2hrs to explore (they close at 7pm). The time went by so quick! Staff were friendly and helpful (we spoke English to them). There were a lot of birds to see. At the time we went there were only two walk in enclosures that were open. There were a couple others that were locked at the time.
