Dog Park Reviews & Ratings
This is a great dog park. It's very spacious and there is plenty of stuff for the dogs to do. There are water fountains and bowls for the dogs, and a few activities. It's pretty well shaded, which is also nice. It's decently clean for a dog park. It seems that most people do pick up after their pets. There is always a good turnout, so there is a good opportunity for dog socialization, if that's what you're looking for. Also, the park is separated for small dogs and larger dogs, although you can use either one. The signs posted say no children under 6 allowed, which is a bummer because my kids love dogs and it would be nice if there were a small fenced off area for petting, but I do see the reason for the exclusion. My only suggestion would be to extend the cemented area around the edges of the park, or maybe make some paths throughout the park, so owners don't have to walk through the dirt to get to their pets when necessary.
We weren't actually at the dog park. We were at the pool directly next to the dog park. We had an awesome time. There are 3 different pools. One for toddlers and babies that's 1 foot deep with a mushroom shaped water spout. Another that's from 1&1/2 ft to 2 ft deep with several water spouts and a showering spout and buckets that dumps water on the children. And the bigger pool that's 3&1/2 ft deep to 6 &1/2 ft deep with slides for bigger children, children who are good swimmers, and adults. It was our first time there, but we had a blast. They have restrooms too, but we didn't have to go, so I'm not sure about their condition. In order to get in the bigger pool children are required to pass a swim test which is great. They are big on safety there, so there are lifeguards at all 3 pools.
Loved this dog park!! It was clean, well shaded, with lots of room to play and clean water sources. My Jasper had a good time.
Remarkably clean dog park. It was loaded with tennis balls which thankfully my dog has a bit of an obsession with. Park goers and their dogs were all friendly. There's separated areas for large and small dogs and water available on tap for your dogs but make sure to bring bowls.
Great park, always a few dogs there and the owner’s clean up after their dogs. Small dog park and large dog park. The large dogs one is very spacious. Only complaint is that it’s mostly sand so a lot of the dogs dig, but still not a big deal. Glad this is only a few minutes away from us!
