Deepa World Spice And Ayurvedic Garden, Thekkady Reviews
Excellent place and excellent business people they collect money to explain what are all the goods they have and then sell the same goods to you :). The reason for entry fee is to assign a guide explains about the spices available there and she took almost 30 mins to walk us through different spices and its benefits. You can see all the plants and trees from where you get spices. You have to walk down and climb up, elders have to be very careful but then they are the one enjoy this place. They sell ayurvedic medicines and they also courier if it works for you.
The guide was highly knowledgeable and the quality of spices is really good. Visited the garden last week and my wife made curries with the spices and it tasted so good . The coffee is very tasty and different from regular stuff.the pain oil is very effective.
Good place to learn about spices and how they grow.
Spices sold here are very costly.. Four times than market rate. I suggest nobody should visit it. As they force u to take medicine and u cannot compare prices and u r forced to take
I have been a regular visitor to the store here. Done the spice walk tour as well. The area they walk you through is not too much but the guides are well informed. They try to cross sell a lot of their ayurvedic preparations and I ended up using the hair oil and shampoo recommended by them. Turns it it worked wonders for my hair. The hair fal was down to negligible . I've been using their hair products for about a year now. Highly recommend a visit here!
