Castello di Vezio is located in the middle of the Lake Como in Varenna, Italy. Built around the eleventh-century, this castle has become a popular tourist attraction in the last decade. It was built for the purpose of controlling the surroundings and defending the nearby villages. Though it was restored numerous times throughout the centuries, it still has its ancient charm. It came into light after the remains of the tombs from Iron age were found here along with some armors and weapons in 1956.
