  • Good Friendly Staff. Big rooms hot showers and big beds. Wifi is almost non existent for me though and amenities are working but dated. Great location though since it's right smack in hay street and has convenience shop around. I don't mind staying again.

  • This hotel the room is not too bad to stay. But the problem is when you go out at night and you come back about 1 or 2 am the night shift staff he is really rude to the guest. His face shown unhappy to open the door for you and he got cranky. When I was there I went out at night time and he asked me that I would come back or not? I said yes I would come back about 30 minutes. He said that if he didn't answer the bells it's mean he is the toilet and he asked me to waiting outside the door until he comes back from the toilet. But at the time when I came back he was laying down on the lounge room and he ignored the bells I was standing outside the door about half an hour until other guests came to check out and he opened the door for them. I'm really upset and unhappy about this situation. I will never suggest anybody to stay there until the hotel management change the man staff at night shift.

  • Good rooms, great location bit noisy and limited facilities

  • Where do I begin. .. When we first checked in I enquired about parking available at the hotel and was told very rudely that street parking after 6 was free, otherwise I would have to park at a secure paid complex down the road. We then went up to our room and the yellow dim light hardly lit the room - I struggled to read the room service menu in its light. The shower seals were perished and mouldy, there was no exhaust fan either which didn't help matters. The bed had a single thin blanket on it, which on a mid may night was nowhere near warm enough - we ran the heater all night to keep the room warm enough to sleep in. The icing on the cake was a disclaimer on the back of the key card which stated that the hotel would neither take responsibility nor be liable for theft of property by its hotel staff. For a beautiful old building with so much potential it was really disappointing to see what a state of disrepair it is in, and how little interest the owners take in their guests comfort.

  • Unfortunately the current owners are running this historic building into the ground. Little maintenance appears to have been carried out recently. Great location
