  • Stayed here with my 5yr old and we loved it. Clean comfortable rooms with great amenities, friendly helpful staff, delicious and well priced food downstairs with breakfast included. Will stay again :)

  • Stayed here for 1 week. Had a fantastic time. Staff were excellent. Locals who visited bar downstairs were very friendly. Live music kept us entertained. meals were excellent as well. If you're looking for the grand palace for accommodation, this is not the place for you. The Indie is a step back in time to the way a motel was in the 1970's and thats what I loved about it, nothing flash but clean tidy motel room, a credit to the house cleaning staff. Next time I visit Perth, this is where I will call home again..... Well done Indian Ocean Hotel, I look forward to returning one day, don't change a thing :)

  • Best to take your own food or there are plenty of cafe's and shops in walking distance. The spare pillow in the wardrobe looked like it was moldy and the bathrooms in the ensuite really need extractors. After you have a shower there was always a massive puddle in the bathroom so you'd have to use all your towels for the floor

  • A nice place for a good price especially if you stay for three days or more. Breakfast is fine and rooms clean.

  • It was very shabby the rooms were poorly serviced and definately need an update. If your looking for privacy do not stay here we got the worst room it is right next to the reception and the door is paper thin and everyone can hear you and you can hear everyone else I couldnt sleep because of the noise of the pub all night and people yelling. I would rather pay a little extra and stay somewhere else nicer
