Dilworth Park, Philadelphia Reviews - Write a Review
Great job, Philadelphia! I'm not scared anymore to walk across Dilworth Plaza to get to the other side of Market Street. Many wonderful seasonal events are scheduled throughout the year. During the hot summer months live jazz music performance and during the winter holidays, ice skating rink and, garden maze is setup to keep visitors busy. In addition, beer garden tent is also setup to warm the hearts of Philadelphians. A permanent cafe is available year-round to serve hot and cold refreshments and light snacks. TIPS: Many cafe style tables are available, so bring a lunch from your favorite restaurant and enjoy the outdoors. And, this is one of the best locations in Philadelphia to watch people.
A lot has changed over the years. I think adding the spray fountains and a food area has made it more of an attraction for children to come to center city which is great because it's easier to show kids (and adults) more of our beautiful city. Especially when the ice rink is there during the winter, it's more fun now than ever!
This parks around City Hall in Philadelphia. It has recently been renovated and used to be called Dilworth Plaza. It has water sprayers and in the winter time an ice skating rink. A security kiosk is also at this place and elevators to the subway. A bus stop is catty-corner to this area.
Great place to wander just at the foot of city hall. There's a cafe and several sculptures/statues around. I grabbed a snack and sat for a bit before getting back on the subway.
plenty of places to sit and relax. There's an ice rink in the winter and fountains in the summer. Easy access to septa.
