University Of Pennsylvania - Review
Visit this place for the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology alone even if you’re seeing nothing else – the mummies, sphinx and sarcophagi are all good crowd pullers. Established by Benjamin Franklin, the University and its beautiful campus abound with sights and activities Visit the library, the bookstore the theatre, the science centre, the vet school; take in the pretty pathways, beautiful statues and gardens; and interact with the many students that are usually eager to show people around their pride and joy. You can even sit in on the classes if you’re visiting – no need to make appointments; simply arrive early, let the professor know and take a seat. You can’t do this in summer though. If you truly want to know the best places though, go to the U Penn website and check out their self-guided visit brochure, where the sights and culture of the place are detailed for the best experience.

University Of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Reviews
Dropped by during a recent trip to Philly. This is the least visitor-friendly of all the Ivy League schools I've visited so far. There is no Visitor Center and visitor resources on their website are hard to find and poorly organized. The most useful self-guided tour map does not even show up on online search results. You can find it on their Admissions website - click "Visit" on the main page and in the next page, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the "Self-guided Walking Tour" link. As for the walking tour - I started at College Hall, a strikingly beautiful Gothic-style building with a green facade. This was easily the highlight of my visit. Next stop was the Quad, which is off-limits to non-residents so I only photographed it from the outside. Locust Walk was next, passing by the prestigious but plain-looking Wharton Business School building, some neat public art, and the Amazon Store before walking back to College Hall. Ended the trip at the University Book Store to check out the merch. From there, it was a 2-minute walk to the subway station at Sansom/36th for the trolley ride to downtown Philly. Two hours total. The Penn Museum would have been a nice stop but after two exhaustive days at the Philly Art Museum and the Barnes, I was done staring at art pieces. Maybe next time.
I no longer work at Penn. Working there was a great experience and prepared me for my next job. The fellow who said you need to know someone there to get hired doesn't know what they are talking about. I'm a minority and I got hired without knowing a danged soul.
Worst place to visit in case of emergency... thaws will make you wait 6 hours before getting to the back and 6 hours before being released if your situation is manageable from home. Please by all means.. skip this hospital any chance you get..
It's so beautiful and organized. The meetings were really well organized and the people are super friendly. The location is close to most things. Loved that!
My life is 💯✓ times better since I have been working towards my health and wellness Here at the University of PENN Hospital... I have been here for a year now and I am so happy that I began my Life Journey and Health Care !
