  • Free camping and friendly locals. People talk a lot about how great the camping is along the Corvallis waterfront and in Central Park, but in my opinion, this place gives those a run for their money. How often do you get a chance to sip on a 40 while taking in views of 2 rivers? You can often find some kind strangers enjoying the warmth of a fire, and if you've brought cigarettes or some of the devil's lettuce, they'll probably share the warmth. There are river front camp sites for when the weather is good, and covered sites for the inevitable Willamette Valley rain storms. It's often a little crowded, and the prime spots get snatched up pretty fast, but there is plenty of space to go around. Public restroom facilities are close by and downtown Corvallis is just a short walk.

  • Nice open park with something for every skill level. Lots of free parking available.

  • Too many homeless hanging around. Little kids not comfortable at the skatepark.

  • Everyone was polite and nice. The park is well maintained and the view is awesome

  • Unique open park fairly well covered an shaded
