Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. is a chain of nostalgic, aviation-themed restaurants where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop locations are decorated following a 1930s and 1940s "pre-jet" aviation theme. The restaurant chain was founded in 1994 in Garland, Texas, and began offering franchises in 1998. Since then, Wingstop has grown into a chain with more than 1,000 restaurants either open or in development. The chain is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Wingstop's national spokesman was Troy Aikman, three-time Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Fame inductee. Over the last month or two I have watched the customer service, cleanliness, and food in this place decline a lot! Tonight is my last visit! I called multiple times before coming and got no answer. When I showed up they had 2 customers. One was paying, one waiting. He asked about his food because it had been over 30 minutes. Carlos said "let me check". He turned around and grabbed a bag that had been sitting for a bit, walks to the fryer and stands there for a few seconds then gives him the bag. Guy checks it and feels how cold it is. Carlos and the other employee ignore the guy when they see he isn't happy. Finally the guy tells them it is not what he ordered and its cold. He wants a refund. Carlos obviously had too much pride to make the customer happy. He doesn't apologize or make any attempt to fix the situation. He gives him a refund and he leaves. The phone rings several times while I am waiting. They never answered. I even watched Carlos pick up the phone and hang it up. This is irritating since it happened to me when I attempted to order ahead to avoid the wait. When I looked in the back it did not appear to be sanitary at all! I saw raw chicken dropped and just sitting on the floor along with fries. Even the front counter had several pieces of trash on it that they didn't bother to pick up. I'm extremely disappointed! I don't remember the guy's name who used to greet me when I came here about a month or two ago, but he was awesome. The one time I didn't get an answer when I called and he was working they were packed! He even apologized for that! He made me want to come here, which I did then much more frequently than I do now. I wish he was still here. Now I have to find a new wing spot.
These guys are the best. The best fries in the world and awesome wings . staff is always friendly. Miguel is a true boss. Great attitudes.
This place is a joke.... there were 5 tables that have not been cleaned out! There was trash everywhere. The guy that took our order (Carlos) was taking orders while sitting on a chair. It was so unprofessional! We definitely won’t be back here!!!!!!
I really like Thier coleslaw too. Wings and flavors are awesome.
Well, I was about 20 minutes away and I called to make my order. Yesica, Jessica, whatever, answered the phone. I asked to make an order to pick up and she said, “I need to put you on hold” and then she completely hung up on me. I called back and the fax machine went off. I called back and after 9 rings she picked up with an immediate, “Wingstop, can you hold?” I said, NO. I CANNOT. YOU HUNG UP ON ME, YOU TURNED ON YOUR FAX AND THEN YOU COULDN’T BE BOTHERED TO HELP ME. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE MY ORDER NOW. She said ok, and then I heard their phone ring and she said, “You’ll have to hold for me to answer that” by this time I was getting off at Kyrene and I just hung up. I got to Wingstop at 8:15pm. There were no guests in the restaurant and there were 4 filthy tables, the counter was also filled with trays and trash. I asked if she would mind taking my order now that I was there and she immediately got an attitude and said yes. Then her family walked in, two adults and two kids, kids yelling “HI MOM” and they gave her a McDonald’s coffee and finally she could take my order. I asked if her family was gonna have to wait like I did for their FREE food? She ignored me and took my order and did not apologize or anything for the way she treated me. I asked for a manager and she said she IS the manager. I’m really surprised that this is the person you would choose to represent your brand. Will not be back to this location ever again and will be doing a survey and calling the corporate number to complain.
