About Wingstop, Phoenix

Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. is a chain of nostalgic, aviation-themed restaurants where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop locations are decorated following a 1930s and 1940s "pre-jet" aviation theme. The restaurant chain was founded in 1994 in Garland, Texas, and began offering franchises in 1998. Since then, Wingstop has grown into a chain with more than 1,000 restaurants either open or in development. The chain is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Wingstop's national spokesman was Troy Aikman, three-time Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Fame inductee. It was acquired by Gemini Investors in 2003, who sold it to Roark Capital Group in 2010.

Verde Valley Hot Air Balloon Ride
View Deal Verde Valley Hot Air Balloon Ride New on TripHobo Duration: 60 minutes From USD 175/person

Hot air balloon flights are meant to take in panoramic views and vistas of the surrounding natural beauty. That is why Verde Valley Balloons flies in the Cottonwood area, 20 miles south of Sedona, not in the Red Rocks area. To see the Red Rocks, we suggest taking a jeep tour. There's no better way to get up close and personal with the rock formations. But if you'd like to experience extraordinary views (depending upon the weather and wind direction) of Mingus mountain, the Verde River, the Prescott National Forest, Tuzigoot National Monument, Jerome, Cottonwood, or sites as far away as Sedona and even the San Francisco peaks at the base of the Colorado Plateau near Flagstaff, you will want to fly with Verde Valley Balloons in Cottonwood because you simply can't see those vistas anywhere else.

  • Food is great, staff are friendly... Only complaint is TIME. It's not that things take 20min to cook, it's that they tell you 20 minutes and it takes them 45 for some reason. It's super frustrating.

  • Well, I was about 20 minutes away and I called to make my order. Yesica, Jessica, whatever, answered the phone. I asked to make an order to pick up and she said, “I need to put you on hold” and then she completely hung up on me. I called back and the fax machine went off. I called back and after 9 rings she picked up with an immediate, “Wingstop, can you hold?” I said, NO. I CANNOT. YOU HUNG UP ON ME, YOU TURNED ON YOUR FAX AND THEN YOU COULDN’T BE BOTHERED TO HELP ME. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE MY ORDER NOW. She said ok, and then I heard their phone ring and she said, “You’ll have to hold for me to answer that” by this time I was getting off at Kyrene and I just hung up. I got to Wingstop at 8:15pm. There were no guests in the restaurant and there were 4 filthy tables, the counter was also filled with trays and trash. I asked if she would mind taking my order now that I was there and she immediately got an attitude and said yes. Then her family walked in, two adults and two kids, kids yelling “HI MOM” and they gave her a McDonald’s coffee and finally she could take my order. I asked if her family was gonna have to wait like I did for their FREE food? She ignored me and took my order and did not apologize or anything for the way she treated me. I asked for a manager and she said she IS the manager. I’m really surprised that this is the person you would choose to represent your brand. Will not be back to this location ever again and will be doing a survey and calling the corporate number to complain.

  • Only one person in the restaurant when I got there I waited alone 30 mins to get me food, the wings were over cooked and dry the sauce was the only thing that made them some what ok the garlic parmesan were the worst I have ever had.

  • They would get a 5 star for the wing size and awesome service and super friendly staff, but wing-stop itself is only getting 4 because they don't provide ranch dressing with wing orders anymore, you have to purchase it separately.

  • Its Wing Stop, any more explanation needed? Fresh made when you order. Excellent service. No doubt I will be back.
