About Bang Pae Waterfall, Phuket
There are only five major waterfalls in all of the island of Phuket, and only two of them are worth seeing. This is one of them. It is located inside a national park so you do have to pay a fee to go and see it. And if you're from outside of Phuket, then it is likely that you have seen better waterfalls elsewhere. However this is still an excellent place to picnic and frolic. The jungle gives it a very ‘hidden gem’ feel. Locals especially enjoy the waterfall very much, and this is their preferred weekend getaway. There is a pond here and you can splash around in it for some good clean fun. You should combine it with a trip to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center.

Bang Pae Waterfall, Phuket Reviews
Nice place but there an entrance fee. 20 baht for Thaï people. 200 baht farangs. Plus, all of you who just drink and eat there, please take your rubbish back with you. That is such a shame to be sensitive and go visit nature and spoil it openly. Thank you. Jo
Very nice place with good access. The waterfall is great but we recommend to go from September to December because can be slippery in rainy season and no water in the waterfall during dry season.... Foreigners pay 200Thb / 5e.
Definitely not worth 200THB per person! We have seen more people turning around. Too bad. But tourist do not pay every price anymore. Fortunately there are plenty of other nice places to visit on phuket.
Beautiful place. Well worth a visit. 😊
Beautiful walk through the jungle culminating in a breathtaking waterfall. Right next to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project which is also definitely worth a visit!
