There are only five major waterfalls in all of the island of Phuket, and only two of them are worth seeing. This is one of them. It is located inside a national park so you do have to pay a fee to go and see it. And if you're from outside of Phuket, then it is likely that you have seen better waterfalls elsewhere. However this is still an excellent place to picnic and frolic. The jungle gives it a very ‘hidden gem’ feel. Locals especially enjoy the waterfall very much, and this is their preferred weekend getaway. There is a pond here and you can splash around in it for some good clean fun. You should combine it with a trip to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center.

  • Beautiful walk through the jungle culminating in a breathtaking waterfall. Right next to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project which is also definitely worth a visit!

  • Nice walk to the top. Takes about 20 mins.

  • Beautiful place, with swimming in the waterfall lake, gibbon sanctuary, can be a start or end of a beautiful hiking trail between Bang Pae and Ton Sai waterfalls.

  • Short walking distance to the fall from gibbon rehabilitation centre, wear proper foot wear, a small pool at the end where the fall drops if you are interested in jumping to cool down.

  • This was an okay attraction - the waterfall was nothing special. The only cool thing was the small pool at the bottom that you could dip your feet in. The walk to the waterfall was also short & uneventful.
