Not all of the shopping on the island of Phuket happens in the street markets. There are two mega malls, and this is one of them. As a tourist you should probably save this for a rainy day, as it is exactly like malls everywhere else and you will not really see anything new. There is one huge department store, a smattering of boutiques and brand outlet, a huge supermarket and a food court. There's also a cinema. The range of goods on offer is exactly as expected, covering jeans, shoes, apparel, jewellery, watches, perfume, luggage, books, music and even toys. The main restaurants are on the 3rd floor. Occasionally the mall host exciting events.

Central Festival Phuket, Phuket Reviews - Write a Review
Nothing special mall with a typical selection of branded boutiques. What I like about it is the expansive dining area / food court with some great Thai and Western options. It's a great place to try Thai food from all the corners of the country without actually travelling. Also the first and only shopping mall food court I know, that serves alcohol.
Central Festival is a large shopping mall in downtown Phuket. Currently there are two main parts connected by a walking bridge. You will find everything here: Movie Theater, Restaurants, Sporting Goods, Hardware, Grocery, Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry, Banks, ATM's, Artisan shops and more. There is a third part that is currently being constructed that will have an aquarium and will likely be completed in mid-2018. There is also a Big-C mall and Tesco Lotus mall just up the main road. Parking is always packed but I have always been able to find a spot....for my scooter :-)
One of the biggest mall, if not the biggest in Phuket at the moment. It's a great escape from the heat and has many things to do, from eating or a mini arcade to watching a movie. The cinema is huge too. With great fame comes people, this place is good to hangout during weekdays. However, during the weekend, the place is extremely packed and parking can be frustrating to find. Also there is a limited time for parking unless you shop inside or watch a movie, so keep that in mind if you drive.
Good mall with a lot of brand stores, cinema and a nice food supermarket (especially if you're looking for Japanese and Korean products). Quite expensive though. If you're more on a cheap side, check out Tesco or Big C supermarkets nearby.
Currently the largest Shopping center in Phuket offering supermarket, a wide varirty of shops, services, restaurant and entertaining areas such as Cinemas and place for kids. A must go if you live nearby and want to find everything under the same roof.
