This open-air Market is exactly like every other Open Air Market in Phuket. Basically you should avoid to the branded stuff and go for the local stuff. The products are all blatantly targeting tourists, from the swimsuits to the multi boxer shorts, cheap sunglasses, the sarongs, the cheap jewelry, and the souvenirs. The local stuff is of some serious interest. You can get carved soap bars, skin treatment products, and different kinds of cosmetics and of course you should definitely check out the food. There are a lot of different varieties of Thai street food here. You'll also find confections, fried insects, grilled meat, fruit shakes, and Northern Thai style sausages among other exotic dishes. Combine this with a trip to the actual temple. It's a nice atmospheric market with lots of local flavor and bustling energy.

  • Best place for a snack! Their street food is legend. All the food I ate was clean. I generally look around and wait until a local orders in the local language then I copy the order. This is my general rule of thumb when choosing street food. Didn't get sick, people were so kind, and the food was delicious! Please come here!!!!

  • Based in the heart of Karon beach, the Karon Market is one of the most popular shopping destinations for both the locals as well as the visitors. The Karon compound stretches for 12,000sqm and on every Tuesday and Saturday, it transforms into a live market selling all kinds of goods. Here one can find a wide collection of many products from T-shirts to bags, Thai style carves to sarongs, swimsuits to beachwear, branded watches, jewellery, souvenir and many other lifestyle goods. One can find good Thai handicraft products in here which are a rare collection and a must buy for all visitors. Karon market is almost like Phuket Weekend Market with unlimited choice goods but at decent prices. The market is also notable for delicious food items like sushi, grilled or steamed meat, fruit shakes etc.

  • The Pad Thai stall right at the entrance is one of the best Pad Thai shop in the area. Highly recommend to try that one. The pork skewer shop at the entrance is pretty nice as well. The rest of the goods selling stalls are rather normal. The market overall is average.

  • Fantastic. In the heart of Karon. Plenty of food stalls and apparel stalls. Good prices and plenty of bargains. Good location for a market. Highly recommended for all visitors to Karon.

  • Loved this market! The BEST spring rolls I have ever had are available here. Also a great market with a wide variety of things
