The turquoise waters of this coral jewel to the south of Phuket are an undisputed marine paradise. There is not much to do on the island itself, for the beaches are rocky with only some areas of powdery white sand, and most of the area are underdeveloped. There are paths criss-crossing it which you can take from beach to beach, passing coconut groves, with a hilltop with views to the south of the island. But what you’re really here for is the snorkelling and scuba diving, for the waters are rich with marine life. Swimming in the bays can be fun so long you are mindful of the boats coming in and out all the time. There are a number of places to stay, and the island has a small village where you can purchase daily necessities.
