Nestled peacefully at the heart of the Chalong Bay, Mudong Estuary is a scenic beauty with the Khao Kad viewpoint and the Klong Mudong area being its major points of interest. Tucked away from the bustling and touristy beaches of Phuket, this tidal estuary has at its mouth a quaint small village named Ban Bo Rae where you can relax, take a peaceful stroll, or rent a kayak and so exploring the peaceful corners. Muslim and Buddhist population dominate the area and maintain small rubber plantations which make for an interesting visit.
