Though this aquarium is quite small it has been extensively renovated and a terrific central exhibit has been added. This is the ‘Tunnel’, a 10 meter long glass underwater walk. It is thrillingly immersive. Right outside the tunnel is giant cod in its own large tank. Some of the other fish you can expect to see here include sharks, piranhas, cuttlefish, seahorses, dolphins, eel and colorful tropical fish. If you’re inclined to scuba dive around Phuket, the aquarium has some good resources on what you should expect to see in the waters surrounding the island. The aquarium’s other main task is to conduct marine biological research, and to breed sea turtles.

Phuket Aquarium, Phuket Reviews - Write a Review
What a great way to spend a rainy day in Phuket! The price of entry was very reasonable, and the aquarium was amazing. Lots of fish, lots of information about each species. Sadly the turtle pool was shut when we were there so I could not see this, but I still enjoyed my visit very much. I would recommend for adults and children alike.
It's pretty decent for a small island aquarium, costs 180 baht for foreigners. Takes about 30 min to finish the main aquarium exhibits. It is slightly dated but is still a good place to bring kids of all ages. Has a leopard shark and a good number of Goliath mouth groupers.
Nice little aquariam with some good examples of fish from around Thailand. My children (aged 10 and 12) had a fun time.
A good place to go with kids! Though far away from the town centre, but the entrance fee is cheap enough to spend 2-3hours there. Not a big place, have some species of fish and ocean lives. They have a souvenir shop with their branded dolls, tees, and some small items. But still suggest the theme park can print more their brand on their items that people may buy more for memorise.
Its a small but very well put together aquarium. About 40 small tanks and two large ones with some nice exhibits. Great way to learn about local sea life. There are some good scenic viewpoints and restaurants nearby so if you travel to this area plan to stay a bit. Its at the very far edge of the island in a not so touristy area.
