This is quite an extensive and thorough Botanical Garden for an island like Phuket. The many plants are cordoned off into specialized areas such as the Japanese garden, the French garden, the rainforest section, the Orchid Garden, the Palm Garden and the Cactus Garden. Every exhibit is beautifully arranged and makes for lovely photographic opportunities. Careful attention has been paid to detail to give you an insight what are the conditions of growth for all these plans really look like. Two gardens in particular stand out. These are the farmer’s garden which has a small rice field and a vegetable garden; and the Winter Garden where the temperature is always kept at 20 degrees Celsius. And they have just recently added a butterfly garden too.
