Phuket Mining Museum - Review
This very interesting museum in Phuket features all the traditional mining traditions in Thailand. It gives a detailed overview of how mining began to how it is now through life-sisezed models.
The exhibits include a huge array of things including a very terrifying replication of an opium den. This very unique exhibit is like no other and hence is definitely recommended to any tourist who doesn’t wish to do the same old thing. It is definitely a good idea to step into it on a rainy day.

Phuket Mining Museum, Phuket Reviews
Love this place. It show about how Phuket mining in ancient time worked
Interesting place to visit, learning about mining industries from the past.
A good museum to take the kids for an hour or two if you'll walk slow and look at everything in details. It's not too big and not too small. The display is mostly of relevant material and few not so relevant. All in all, it is a nice stop during your day in Phuket.
To be honest, didn't expect anything much here, however so many precious historical things accumulated here. What a shame, it has not been taken care too well or use to it's maximum capabilities.
About 15-20 minutes worth of content. Mostly in Thai. Kind of a waste of time / money. Some commentors said you could take your kids here for an hour or two?! Most of the exhibits are not touch-friendly or are falling apart. Lots of rusty tools with sharp edges in easy reach though...
