A word of warning before you head into the treasures of this Market. If there's anything in the market that looks branded, it is fake. This has practically no exceptions. The market basically has three sections. The covered section has the second hand goods, and it is quite intriguing, with a items of fair to good quality. The open section is the new goods. And the last section is the food section. There are a lot of clothes, accessories, everyday items, bags and perfumes. If you want quality, try to look for the stuff made by local designers. Do not by any high priced items here. In food, you’ll find corn, BBQ meats, fishcakes, fried everything, beer and ice-cream, to name a few.

Phuket Weekend Market, Phuket Reviews - Write a Review

  • What a great time. Eat like a local. Food, ice and water all were very safe... didn't have problems in the 3 weeks we were in Phuket. Lots of bargains to be had. Lots of good food to be tried. Soup in a bag... awesome.

  • Great break from the norm... great craftwork. Food and drink is great. The only down side is having to share it with the hundreds of other tourists

  • Thalang Rd old town Phuket is closed to traffic on Sunday 1600-2200. Market stalls, Street food, buscurs ... Cafes and bars also open. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

  • Nice Location with different goods (food and non-food). Very well organized. Publik toilet in the backyard. Nice surrounding houses. CCTV Surveillance.

  • Nice vibe, with interesting street food and a couple of places with live music. Higher quality stuff than the other night markets we visited. Was pretty crowded when we were there (about 5pm), but that also adds to the vibe
