Apparently it cost US$25 million to build this upscale marina of 350 berths for boats on Phuket’s eastern seaboard. And every cent shows luxury waterfront villas, gourmet markets, upscale bars and restaurants and an exclusive beach club overlook waters parked with the most glamorous of yachts and private vessels. The whole place is a brilliant fusion of Thai-style architecture and Mediterranean-style layouts. This is the only such neighbourhood in the entire island so far. And unless you’re part of the elite, most of what you’ll be doing is spend time drooling at the boats and people-watching. Time well spent.

As a launching spot for some of the island tour operators, it was efficiently run and lived up to promise insofar as a safe and well-run tour-boat launch spot. It is not much of a tourist spot to browse, however, since, apart from the marina scenery, there is not much else to do unless you are launching a sea vessel. It served our purpose well, though, in that it was where we launched and docked.
Amazing experience with a company operator called Sea Star with plenty of options to choose from per your budget suits to explore Phi-Phi group of islands.. really amazed by the hospitality of the see Star staff.. will surely recommend to all traveler to Phi-Phi island
This place is beautiful but they shouldn't allow shady tour operators here. The high speed boats are a joke you spend the entire day hoping to different places and they will say you have 30 minutes here only then on to the next. Constant yelling and rushing. Then they charge ridiculous prices for all the necessities. Not recommended. Many people got sick on the boat then the tour operator charges 700 baht to take a more calm boat. I didn't get sick but what a scam. Heartless people. Tourist trap. Avoid!
We boarded our high powered boat for Phi Phi Island from here & was struck by the strength of design from the entry to the waterfront. Well appointed its no surprise how popular the Royal Phuket Marina is. Easy to find, navigating the grounds & marina was easy and spotless. Beautiful!
It'a a nice, upscale, empty space for a stroll. Unfortunately there is almost nothing there. A very limited selection of average restaurants with inflated prices. Could do with more restaurants and cafes, more life, more people.
