300 souls in Phuket, locals and tourists, were killed in the 2004 tsunami, most of them in the Baan Nam Khem village, which was nearly wiped off the map. This park with its wave shaped walls was established to commemorate those dead souls. There hang photographs and plaques. Since it was established, the park has become something of an annual pilgrimage site. There is nothing much to do here except to spend a moment in reflection and move on.
