Dixie Stampede Dinner And Show, Pigeon Forge Reviews

  • It's a nice place to go for a family outing. It would be nice if they were able to mix it up a bit for repeat visitors and the picture prices are way to high especially when it's the same shot just laid over a different background 5 times which usually looks cheesy, not to mention if you don't buy they will trash them. Also they shouldn't be trying to sell them to you during the show, it's impossible to pay attention to them and watch the show. The food and the tea is always good. I like the way they have the kids come out and interact some and kids love the farm animals.

  • I'm not really interested in dinner shows. I came because someone I was with likes horses. I did enjoy the comic relief of skeeter. The chicken was juicy and tender, the BBQ sauce was good, but potato didn't have butter, sour cream, etc., the Apple turnover was delicious. The rest of the show was okay, the kids enjoyed it. Definitely more of a family entertainment. This was not fine dining. Edit: I read a couple of the last reviews before mine and they spoke of educational value. Not sure what version of History they're referring to, certainly not accurate.

  • My family had a great time. Bought tickets the day of, excellent service over the phone. Arrived about 1.5 hours early, my girls loved the souvenir boot cup filled with Sprite and cherries. Music beforehand was great and had a little for all. The show/dinner was very entertaining and good. The meal was a potato/chicken broth with biscuit, chicken (a lot) a loin, corn and potato. It's decent and you eat with your hands. The show was worth it and would do again.

  • Great show!! The show is entertaining on every level for every age. Moderately educational, but uses history as a way of promoting our national unity. From the great showmanship and the great horsemanship to the great music before the show it was a great experience for all. Be sure to bring your appetite. The food was cooked perfectly, but beware it is all considered food that doesn't require utensils. They are also great with food allergies, just tell them ahead of time when purchasing your tickets and they will take care of you.

  • A little on the pricey side but it was basically a 2 hour show and great food and service. Show was great and food was better. You get a cup of soup, whole small rotisserie chicken, slice of pork loin, half of seasoned potato, half of ear of corn and a turnover for desert Plus a drink. Lets just say you don't go away hungry.
