If you are a fan of Whodunits head over to the Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show. For six years this theatre has been spinning yarns where a cast member is murdered and it’s up to you to solve the crime. You stand to win a prize if you deduce the killer. There are three exhilarating shows along with a four course meal.
The theatre deals with three different shows: Whodunit Lucy is based on the TV serial I Love Lucy. The characters in this show has the same names as the earlier TV show and is equally thrilling. The Marcia Marcia Murders is loosely based on Murder on American Idle and was formerly known as the Bradley Family and the show was based on the Brady Bunch. The Moonshine Murder follows the show Frankly, Scarlett you’re dead. The shows are all very entertaining and hilarious and children can enjoy them as well.
The theatre is located off the trodden path of the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Even after six years it attracts loyal followers who believe this place is a hidden gem. The theatre is small and very intimate and perfect for up close and interactive shows.
On their menu is a choice of soup, followed by the main course consisting of pork or chicken. Mashed potato, green beans and dinner roll accompany the main course. Children under 12 receive a peperoni cheese pizza instead of the roll. This is followed by cheesecake dessert and drinks. Beer and Wine are available at extra cost. They have a vegetarian option as well.
They have a group policy where you have to make a deposit of $ 150 and sign a contract 2 weeks before the show. The group should contain 20 or more people. There should be a group leader or bus driver per 30 paid guests. They suggest you arrive 45 minutes prior to show time. Each guest receives a clue packet to help solve the crime.
