The beach bathrooms with showers a shower head on the beach to wash the sand off your feet. Three big playground areas campsites for campers or tent. Water and electric hook-up with a dump station. They also have variety of classes for kids and adults that you can take at the park.. me and my family love this place.

  • Just moved to Texas and found this gem! The price is right if you do the annual day use pass. Quite a few places to fish, especially for the kids after blue gill... Also have tied into a few bass. Nice trails, and lots of deer.

  • Unique Lakeside state park with miles of sidewalks for trails. Easy access for strollers, wheelchairs, and toddlers on training wheels. Your shoes stay clean even after it rains, and the paved sites keep most of the sand out of your RV. Beautiful campsites. Day use swimming area is closed for flood reparation for the summer. Check with the park office to confirm opening dates. There rest of the park is open as usual.

  • Love going here! Always clean and the park employees are helpful. Bathrooms are OK but we love going to swim at the lake. They have grills and tables just take a canopy for the sun and your good!!

  • A wonderful variety of trails for everything from walking, to riding a bike, or even riding a horse! Whether you're looking for an easy, paved trail with minimal inclines or something a bit rougher with switchbacks and more, there's really something for everyone. They even offer primitive campsites you have to hike a little ways into in addition to traditional campsites and rv sites with hookups. Just be forewarned, the swimming and picnic area is currently closed. Check with the office to see when it might be reopened.
