This was a huge disappointment. Room was shabby. Only one electric outlet and you had to unplug lamp to use it. Door in shower fell off. Two lights were out. Room over kitchen was very hot and when we opened the window the aroma from the kitchen was overpowering. WiFi in rooms was spotty at best. Needs a major upgrade. On the positive side, the grounds are lovely and the food in the dining room was good.
Had a very relaxing overight spa break with afternoon tea and a very relaxing treatment for each of us. Dinner and breakfast good. Were in a Garden room for 3 which couldn't have been more comfortable with 2 bathrooms which was a real bonus. Staff all very pleasant and attentive. Good choice for a quiet relaxing break.
Elegant hotel includes surrounding landscape & grounds with lots of acreage designed to draw in nature's beauty to the guests who choose to wander away from their room. Excuisite menu brings delightful dining along with artistic colorful presentation of the food. The guest rooms are uniquely designed and dressed for its size. I recommend you visit this place so you don't miss out on the grandeur
Nice rooms, excellent restaurant, marvellous afternoon tea. Friendly and efficient staff who enjoyed their work. Easy walk to Pitlochry. Plenty of places to visit within easy reach.
Lovely hotel. Food was excellent off of the set and la a carte menus. Spa was great and my wife enjoyed a facial. Rooms are a little tired but there was renovations ongoing while we were there. The Stag's Head bar was very warming and comfortable, whisky by the log fire... Would recommend.
