Ethnographic Museum, Plovdiv Reviews

  • A very nice museum; the building is beautiful from outside but also from the inside. Good value price -quality. I really enjoyed visiting it.

  • Beautiful museum situated in the old town. The garden in front of the building is lovely with many places to relax. The museum owns a painting of Markvichka, which is original, situated in the main hall.

  • The museum itself is very facinating with paintings and intriguing architectural design. The exhibits we're also interesting to explore and get a glimpse of what Plovdiv and all of Bulgaria was once like. I greatly appreciate the preservation of folk culture and being able to see it in person was a treat.

  • Loved this museum, mostly for the architecture of the house. You have to pay an extra fee if you want to take photographs inside the house, so be aware of this before you go. They do offer a student discount if you present your student card on the entrance fee.

  • A star in Bulgaria. First class exhibits and multi-lingual staff. I highly recommend a visit here
