Pavaj, Plovdiv Reviews

  • Nice staff and delicious food. Update: The food is still delicious however if you are going there on the weekend make sure to call ahead at least a day. Also it would be very helpful if the staff picks up the phone. I understand they are busy however we tried calling at least 15 times and they neither picked up nor returned the call.

  • One of the best meal I have ever had!!!!!! Incredibly delicious! Everyone get the baked cheese with strawberry jam!!!! The most delicious thing ever for cheese lover ! And the staff was incredibly welcoming they spoke english perfectly. The owner even recommended us some other cool place to go ! We are acually planning to go back partly because of all the food there ! For vegetarians: there is only one option in mains but it is incredible!

  • Yes. Yes. Yes. Tipped off to Pavaj by Vino culture we were incredibly surprised by the quality. The Balkan Trout was excellent. Tender and sweet. But the star was the naked eggplant. I am dreaming of this dish right now. The eggplant is baked to bring out the natural sweetness and topped/filled with tomato paste, lentils, and feta. Baked eggplant like this is common in all Makedonian cooking but Pavaj does it the best. Just GREAT. Service and price were both well suited to the quality of the meal. Completely awesome experience.

  • Amazing food! Cosy athmosphere and amazing stuff! Beter make a reservation in advance.

  • It is a small place in the center of Plovdiv. There you can find smile and friendly service combined with very good food and craft beer. Reservation is necessary.
