World Peace Pagoda - Review

The world peace pagoda is a stupa atop a hill offering amazing views of Pokhara. Dedicated to peace and prosperity and the innocent lives lost during the world war, the Peace pagoda is made with the initiative of uniting the human race.

World Peace Pagoda, Pokhara Reviews

  • Situated at the top of the hill. Road is very narrow and elevated. Pokhara look awesome from this place. Parking is available for 30rs No entry fee

  • Really peaceful and enjoying place to visit at Pokhara city. Journey to pokhara is incomplete without visiting this place . we need to walk a certain distance from the main road if you go by bus and going there by hiring taxi is the best option for cozy visit

  • Good hiking place for 1 or 2 hours from Fewa lake or David's Fall. Peaceful and good place for meditation, Japanese Buddhist chanting. and peace walking meditation with natural beauty around.

  • What a view πŸ˜β›° I started with an expression because it was breathtaking at the top of it. 2km drive from city. But to reach at the top of it there are 50-60 stairs which you can climb easily. Ships are around the stairs. So in case you are thirsty you can grab a drink. But keep in mind you have to reach there before 6pm as they close the gate at that time. So make sure you are reaching there by 4-5ish in the evening. Once you reach there it’s beautiful. You can enjoy the fishtail mountain which is famous there so serene and beautiful. Rest you will know when you will visit. Must visit place if you are in pokhara. πŸ™

  • Peaceful place. Heart rate increases as you climb up. 😊
