Occupying over 450 acres of land, Hacienda Buena Vista is a coffee plantation, dating back to the 19th century. Visiting the place, you will see a plantation house that showcases the Spanish colonial style of architecture. Listed in the US National Register of Historic Places, Hacienda Buena Vista is considered to be a significant place to visit as here you will get to see the only remaining example of the Barker hydraulic turbine, the first reaction-type turbine ever made. Also considered to be one of the best remaining examples of a Puerto Rican coffee plantation, this museum lets you know about the evolution of the coffee industry in the region.
