Pong Ngam Tourism

Pong Ngam (Thai: โป่งงาม) is a village and tambon (subdistrict) of Mae Sai District, in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. In 2005 it had a total population of 9,528 people. The tambon contains 12 villages.


This warm abode of Pong Ngam is a delightful place to visit in Thailand. When planning a trip to Pong Ngam, make sure you visit its near-by prime city of Chiang Rai. Chiang Rai, is a worth visiting city owing to its prime attractions like Golden Triangle, Phu Chi Fa Forest Park, Wat Rong Khun. Also, to reach Pong Ngam, you'll have to take a flight to Chiang Rai; so its not really a detour. And even if it is, the city is worth paying at least a quick visit. Get in the character of the city, this city requires at least of 1 to 2 number of days of exploration.
