The Mach loop is also referred to as CAD West or Machynlleth Loop and basically consists of a series of valleys in the UK in west-central Wales. The place is popular for being used as low-level training areas for the fast jet aircrafts. This training area is within the Low Flying Area (LFA) LFA7 and covers most of Wales. These valleys lie about 8 miles east of Barmouth and are situated between the towns of Dolgellau to the north and Machynlleth to the south. If you have some interest in flying, this would be the perfect area to get trained or if yo9u know how to fly, this is where you can refine your skills.
