Huzoor Palace, popularly referred to as Raj Mahal is a popular place of historical significance located in Porbandar. Though this town is primarily famous due to the fact that Mahatma Gandhi was born here, it holds numerous other attractions including this one. It was constructed by Rana Natwarsinhji, the last Maharaja of Porbandar in the early 20th century. The architectural style of the building is clearly influenced by European design, and has several characteristics of the same including massive windows and Neoclassical columns. It is a privately owned property, hence visitors are not allowed inside. Visit this place to appreciate the grand architecture of this structure.
