Pordenone [pordeˈnoːne] (Venetian and Friulian: Pordenon) is the main comune of Pordenone province of northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. The name comes from Latin Portus Naonis, meaning 'port on the Noncello (Latin Naon) River'.
