Anthropological Museum Reviews & Ratings

  • By now you must've read about what this place holds! I'll add few more to them :-) You'll find information not about different tribal groups here but few here and there points on the island as well. You'll find people speak in Tamil, people visiting this place from South India will find it easy(if not familiar with English and Hindi).

  • Take some one hour to go through each item and you will know Andaman and Nicobar thoroughly.. well maintained...

  • This will educate you on the tribal history and culture. It's a 3 floored building with 2 floors of tribal content to watch out for and the 3rd floor is occupied by the staff there I believe. You can see various things from pictures of tribes to their arms(weapons), household utensils, etc.. A must see. Entry ticket is Rs. 15/- per head

  • Its a good place to visit to if you are an anthropological enthusiast. Plus you would be able to explore the tribal society of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. I am sure its a best place to spend your evening.

  • It is one of the best anthropological museum in country which shows different aspects of human evolution since the dawn of civilisation to present time. We can have a fair idea of human evolution here with changes in their eating habits, shelters, hunting skills, CO- habitations with different flora and fauna and evolution of fashion sense of mankind. It really takes us to time when we were learning survival skills
