As the name itself suggests, the Mini Zoo is a small zoo located in the Haddo area of Port Blair. Once a major tourist attraction and known for its crocodile breeding programs, the zoo now houses very few animals. A majority of the animals were shifted to the Chidiya Tapu Biological Park. Presently, the Mini Zoo houses monkeys, a salt water crocodile, Malayan box turtle and birds like the Andaman dark serpent eagle, white bellied sea eagle, parrots and the Nicobar pigeon.
