Port Charlotte Beach Park Reviews & Ratings

  • I love this little park! A great place to relax next to the waters edge while the kids play on the extremely clean and we'll kept playground. They have picnic areas that are covered, restrooms that are clean and maintained and beautiful grass to throw a sheet down on for a picnic. Beautiful park all around

  • This is a very nice little beach and park. The water is brackish which I understand is just as clean as the ocean but “rusty” colored because of the vegetation and mangrove trees so good swimming if you choose. I prefer the beautiful pool myself. Which is right on the beach and is inexpensive. Gorgeous sunset from here. Nice spot close to where we live to set up chairs & relax.

  • It is under (re)construction. Not very visually appealing. And this time of year the flow of the Peace River tends to be reddish/brownish. Nonetheless, it is a relaxing place to visit.

  • The playground is brand new and Charlotte County 4H made a butterfly garden that was full of butterflies and my kids loved it.

  • Great local beach with Fun for the while family. Right now it's off season so they are updating the facilities and there is construction going on. But normally it's a great place to visit. Has an outdoor park for the kids Has basketball courts Has bocce ball (always fun and full) Has a year round pool with life guards Boat launches Sailing Paddle boards and other water toys available Great place to watch the sunset. Or just pull your boat up to the beach. Great Small beach . NOT a great water beach..not for swimming in the bay or ocean.
