  • First i love light houses this one is smaller than Marblehead lighthouse but fascinating.. plus got to walk the pier the grounds are beautiful and a up close of the jet express.. very interesting and nice..great job Port Clinton

  • This is a reproduction of the lighthouse. The history of it was interesting to read and the park is nice. If you like to see lighthouses then go to Marblehead instead nearby. It is the original rebuffed and the view of the lake is spectacular!! We like to get ice cream in town and sit and eat it there! There is also a house there with the history of the lighthouse and a gift shop.

  • Small lighthouse compared to the one in Marblehead but this has a spot where you can walk along the shore and get your feet wet in the lake! Good place for photography, a jog or a bike ride. We weren't here when the lighthouse was open but this is a great place to stop for a couple minutes after you've come back on the ferry or when your starting your day.

  • Restored light house, it's a great photo op next to the lake. Tours offered regularly. Restored by local craftsmen. Was taken out of service about 60 years ago.... but the light house conservancy can better explain and provide details.

  • The light house is a pretty historic place to watch out. The other reason to be there is to watch the sunset with boats and ferries cutting between you and the sunset. Seems to be very good place for fishing. We could find lot of people fishing along the lake. There is a little beach where we could walk a bit.If you are passing by this area . This would be a good fit pit stop.
