Cape Rachado Lighthouse, Port Dickson Reviews
Amazing place for a sunset shot. A small hike is required before reaching the lighthouse. Beware of the monkeys😜
Just pay RM1 to enter the park, then spend less than 15 mins to reach the stairs to walk up to Cape Rashado Light House. The walk was moderate, suitable for kids and even elderly. The views are spectacular. Suggest to head there before sunset for a great view.
Cape rachado have two peaks. One is the lighthouse & another is the famous Bukit Batu Putih. The view of the latter is breathtaking.
Check out the lighthouse here...nice walk even if you can't access the building...then follow the trail down from just behind the lighthouse, well marked and easy enough, leads to a secluded beach, unfortunately too many rocks for a swim but still worth it for the hike and the view
1RM entrance fee. Will take roughly 20 mins to walk up to light house. Toilet is at start point only. We carried our own drinks as they hike up drinks prices over there. Do take note, lots of ppl are exercising here and running, so, be careful when taking photos on top of cliff. Once you reach the top, the view is mesmerizing and sunset can be seen clearly. Just make sure to go early around 5:30pm and save yourself good seat! After the sunset, it gets dark pretty fast as there are no street lights. Do make sure and start your descend before 7pm. My wife saw and heard what she felt was rattle snake... it's jungle after all so be mindful of where you are going, surroundings and what you are stepping on :P
