About Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas, Port Douglas

A must visit attraction in Port Douglas, the Wildlife Habitat is one of the best nature parks in Queensland. It gives visitors the opportunity to explore three distinct ecosystems filled with native flora and fauna. The Wildlife Habitat also has a unique activity where visitors can have “Breakfast with the Birds” or “Lunch with the Lorikeets”. Both activities can be pre-booked and allow visitors a chance to interact with the birds that visit your table while you enjoy a heart buffet meal in an outdoor tropical ambience.  The park also gives you an opportunity to interact with kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles and many more native animals. The meals are served in the Wildlife Café and there is also a souvenir and gift shop in the park.

  • Nice Little park. It is best when you do. the guided tours. I like the koalas and ceocodiles best. You can spend 2-4 Hours in there.

  • A really good display of birds and animals in a great facility. Expected something more more touristy, but was pleasantly surprised. Lots of it was in really big enclosures that felt really open with birds moving freely around.

  • Amazing place for see the fauna on the Queensland and the chance to feed the kangaroos is a lovely experience but the best situation it was a new king of zoo any animals don't have a gate and it was all free and I think happy

  • What a cool place. Worth the $31AUD entrance fee. The people working there truly love the animals as well. Not a zoo by any stretch.
