The Rivulet Terre Rouge Estuary Bird Sanctuary is every bird-watcher’s paradise-especially during the migration season from October to April. The sanctuary is one of the largest in Mauritius and has an Intertidal mud land, sand or salt flats and shallow marine waters.
The place has 14 regularly visiting migratory birds and three species of endemic plants which are the highlights of the place. If you love nature and birds, take a few hours to walk through the sanctuary and see the birds in their natural habitat.
