Located on the bank of Lake Eerie, the Hawk Cliff is a steep cliff and offers fabulous hawk watching and nature watching sessions to its visitors. The gravel laden path along the ridge is quite enthralling. Taking a hike along the trails, you can enjoy hawks soaring over in search of food, migratory swallows feeding their chicks and sea-birds squawking. It is a birdwatchers’ and bird photographers’ delight as you will find a plethora of birds like kestrels, hawks, eagles, falcons of varieties here having their safe abode in this secluded spot. On bright sunny days, you can enjoy a panoramic vista of Port Stanley from the Hawk Cliff edge. During Migratory season, you can also find a number of the elusive Monarch Butterflies around here.
